Big bats early on helped Pleasantville come away with a 7 – 3 win over Central Decatur in the Class 2A regional tournament yesterday. Traci Kunze hit a three-run bomb in the first inning, and Hannah Gordon added a two-run single in the fourth to highlight the Trojans’ night offensively. Bailey Oliva was the winning pitcher, giving up three runs on two hits with three strikeouts. Pleasantville is 13 – 16 on the year and they are back on the diamond tonight in round two against Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont.
