Two roads in Pella are closed for repairs and upgrades Thursday. University Street from 3rd Street to Prairie Street in Pella will be closed to all through traffic as the Water Department makes improvements to the water distribution system. If there are no complications, the road is expected to be reopened on Wednesday, July 16th. The 300 block of Peace Street in Pella will be closed to traffic while repairs to the sewer system are completed. This includes the intersection of Hazel and Peace street. The projected is expected to be completed 6 p.m. Thursday evening.
