Several Pella Baseball Players on All-Conference List

A total of six names from Pella High were on the 2014 Little Hawkeye Conference all-conference list for this past baseball season. Making the first team as an infielder was Grant Judkins, who was a unanimous choice. The shortstop led the league in batting average, hitting .378, and also in doubles with 12. The sophomore also was second in driving in runs, with 20 during the conference slate. Also making the first team as an outfielder was Tanner Wood. Pella’s left-fielder hit .284 and walked a league-high 16 times. Marcus Wittmer was selected to the second team, with a .286 average and 14 RBI’s. Ethan Butler and Austin Titman also were named to the second team, while Jason Morgan and Adam Carey each received an honorable mention. Pella finished the season with a 26 – 14 record.
