The Knoxville Softball Squad will be a member of the South Central Conference next season.The Panthers leave the Little Hawkeye where that conference boasted of the defending class 4A champion Dallas Center-Grimes along with the Fillies, Norwalk and Oskaloosa also made the state tournament. The South Central Conference did not do badly either. Clarke and Eddyville-Balkesburg qualified. Coach Steph Christner tells KNIA/KRLS the Panthers level of competition in conference play next season will be just as good as the L-H-C. Christner says she is not sure how many of the Little Hawkeye Conference teams her team will face as non-conference opponents next season.
