Zeb Adreon was literally unhittable in a 10 – 0, five-inning defeat of I-35 on Thursday. Adreon no-hit the Roadrunners while the offense was clicking, led by Josh Luna and Kirk Wicks who each had two hits. The Trojans’ girls fell to the number-five ranked team in Class 3A, 5 – 1. Pleasantville could only collect two knocks in the loss. Pleasantville baseball is now 18 – 6 while the girls end the regular season with a mark of 12 – 16. The baseball team will play on Saturday at Riverfront Stadium in Waterloo against a ranked Crestwood team, while Trojans’ softball will open up regional tournament play next on Tuesday with a first-round game against Central Decatur.
