Twin Cedars stayed undefeated on the season with a 6-1 victory over Knoxville last night in baseball action. The Panthers took the lead in the top of the first when Jake Kendall brought home Kevin Woodhouse, however it was all Twin Cedars from there as the Sabers got four runs in the first inning and two more in the second. Otis Roby was able to get an R-B-I in the second inning while Coy Moore controlled things on the mound. Sabers Coach Matt Miller told KNIA/KRLS timely hits and the good start at the plate for his team was key. Moore got the win going six innings scattering six hits on one run two walks and two strikeouts. Hunter Embray was 2/3 for the Sabers. Knoxville Coach Joel Johnson said his team hit the ball pretty well…but did not get enough hits or runs. Bryce Zoutte took the loss going just 2/3 of an inning. Knoxville used six pitchers in the game with none working for than an inning and a third. Knoxville is now 15-10 on the season and will host Pella Christian tonight while Twin Cedars raises its record to 22-0.
