As a former player at the collegiate level and a current coach who has turned several programs around, Ryun Ferrell has his sights set high for the Central tennis teams. He wants the Dutch to rise to be a conference powerhouse, much like Coe and Luther are now. To do that, Ferrell says the winning equation is much like the strategy of another sport: Boxing. Central’s men have two dates in the fall, while the women will play in a triangular to begin their main portion of the schedule this Saturday in Illinois against Monmouth and Knox.
