Only losing two seniors from a team that made it all the way to the Class 2A regional final who also almost pulled off a monumental upset of the number-one ranked team in the state, you could say the Pella Christian softball club is primed for another deep run next year. Not too fast, says head coach, Karen Harrill. The Eagles’ skipper says she’s very, very excited for 2015, but her girls need to continue to want to get better and will need to be more consistent next year. Harrill stresses that the coaches can only do so much, and that it’s up to the girls to get on the diamond and translate what they learned in practice into success.
