As Kyle Larson tells KNIA/KRLS News, it’s chance to renew old friendships.

“Knoxville’s one of my favorite race tracks. It’s just so fun. You get to see your friends you don’t see all the time. Everybody just gets together in Knoxville, Iowa, for a week and a half and it makes it a lot of fun.”

Jeff Gordon also told KNIA/KRLS News the outpouring from the community during Nationals is wonderful.

“This is awesome,” said Gordon following the 2nd Annual Go-Kart Spectacular at Slidway Karting Center Wednesday. “I look forward to coming every year.”
