As the days are starting to wind down between now and the time the opening kickoff happens for the 2014 Central football season, the Dutch are getting themselves ready to go with another grueling Iowa Conference schedule in hopes to play more than ten games this year. The Dutch coaching staff has an off-season training program in place for the team, but Coach Jeff McMartin says he hopes the guys are helping one another out in their preparations. McMartin stresses that his athletes must do things on their own since the coaching staff is not allowed to be out there with them, so he hopes the guys are coaching one another. He also hopes the team is bonding and getting close as a team. The opening kickoff for Central’s season is less than a month away, on September 6 in Illinois.
