The Pella Opera House has released the schedule of productions for the 2014-15 season.

They were announced at a party held by the staff on Friday night. Pella Opera House Executive Director Kevin McQuade says that most people will find something they like with this year’s selection of shows.

“You can look at our season and say, ‘Wow! There are one or two or three things I really want to see,’ […] we’ve got rock n’ roll, we’ve got children’s stuff, we’ve got country and western, we’ve got a free film seasons, and we’ve got holiday theme stuff,” McQuade said.

The intention of the staff at the Pella Opera House is to secure a broad range of performances to bolster the community’s art and theatre scene.

“I collect a group of people to be our slate of performers who I think are going to interest the greatest number of people from a variety of different backgrounds in the Pella community and surrounding neighboorhoods,” McQuade said.

He encourages members of the community to stop by the Opera House to see what’s coming up this season and to support their operations by becoming a member. McQuade discusses the upcoming season on Let’s Talk Pella.
