A preliminary hearing date has been set for a Pella man who is accused of burglarizing an area business. Nineteen-year-old Craig Wilson of Pella was arrested Thursday and charged with third-degree burglary, a Class D Felony in Iowa. Wilson pleaded guilty on August 13th to operating a vehicle without the owner’s consent. His two-year prison sentence stemming from that case was suspended and he was sentenced to 2 years probation, but this week’s arrest violated that probation. According to court filings, Wilson is being held on $5000 bond for the 3rd degree burglary charges and an additional $2000 bond for the probation violation. His preliminary hearing is set for Friday, August 29th.
