Tickets sale were up 5 percent at the Knoxville Raceway for this year’s 54th Annual FVP Knoxville Nationals.

Raceway General Manager Brian Stickel says 85,873 patrons walked through their gates during the event.

Stickel adds that the Nationals provide a significant yearly economic stimulus to not only area businesses and non-profits, but also to the approximately 330 employees who work at the raceway during Nationals.
