Staging work is beginning for the hydroelectric dam project this week.

Preliminary shoulder work on the dam along side County Highway T-15 started on Monday and will continue until further notice. The speed limit driving is 35 miles per hour in the construction zone. One lane of T-15 over the dam will be closed from Tuesday, August 19th until the 28th, weather permitting. This will allow workers to widen a section of road and add a turning lane, which will give workers access to the future intake structure of the dam. The road will be completely closed to traffic later in the fall.
