CLARK, RENAE NICOLE 001
A Knoxville woman has been arrested after allegedly stealing money from a person’s home.

26-year-old Renae Clark was arrested Wednesday on a warrant for 2nd Degree Burglary, a Class C felony.

According to court documents, on August 28th police were dispatched to a possible burglary on 179th Place at approximately 3:30pm. Witnesses told police they observed Clark inside the residence and when they confronted her, she said she had permission to be there.

Upon further investigation by law enforcement, it was determined Clark had not received permission to be in the residence and that she had taken a jar with an undetermined amount of money from there.

Clark was already on probation for a July 2013 theft charge and was scheduled to have a probation revocation hearing at the time of the burglary.

A preliminary hearing on this case is scheduled for Friday, September 26th.
