A continuance was granted in the case of a Knoxville man who’s accused of trying to help a felon purchase guns.
45-year-old Randy Joe Ball has been charged with two counts of conspiracy to aid a felon in receipt of a firearm, a Class D felony.
According to court documents, officers were told by a felon in late March that he purchased two sawed-off shotguns from Ball, at least one of which was bought in the summer of 2013.
Ball’s pretrial conference date has been rescheduled for October 24th.
