The Central volleyball team took a win and a loss out of their opening day at the Illinois College Invitational. The Dutch swept Monmouth to open the day, 25 – 20, 25 – 18, and 25 – 16, but fell to Lakeland, 22 – 25, 18 – 25, and 22 – 25. The Dutch are now 8 – 3 on the year and will conclude tournament play today against Rockford and Culver-Stockton.
