The Central volleyball team nabbed a pair of sweeps in their final two games of their season opening road trip in Virginia yesterday. The morning started with a three-set sweep of Emory & Henry, 27 – 25, 25 – 12 and again 25 – 12, before the Dutch downed William Peace, 25 – 22, 25 – 17 and 25 – 19. Central averaged nearly .260 hitting in the two games. The 3 – 1 start for the Dutch is the best since 2011. Central will head to Chicago this weekend for the North Park Invitational.
