Off to one of their best starts in recent memory, the Pleasantville football team has been doing all of the little things right through four games. Though they got off on the wrong foot against Colfax-Mingo, the Trojans have responded mightily, scoring 61 points the past three contests, while the defense has recorded two shutouts and has allowed only eight themselves, while creating 15 turnovers. Coach Gabe Bakker says the credit for their latest success can be spread all throughout the program. The Trojans are also 2 – 0 in district play, and have a chance to nearly cement themselves into the playoffs with a win over Bedford this Friday.
