Pella Christian enjoyed success on their home court in their own tournament on Saturday. The Eagles swept their pool play; defeating Martensdale – St. Mary’s and Lynnville-Sully in straight sets and downing Des Moines Christian in three. The Eagles then took down a ranked Grand View Christian team, 23 – 25, 25 – 23, and 15 – 13 in the championship bracket to reach the finals. However, the Eagles were stifled by West Des Moines Valley in straight sets, 25 – 21 and 25 – 9. Full stats are listed below. The Eagles improve to 15 – 9 on the season and will try to move to 4 – 0 in conference play with a match win over Norwalk on Tuesday.
