In the same gym against the same team that ended their season a year ago, Pella Christian volleyball goes head-to-head with Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont tonight in a big early season varsity match-up. The Rockets are 9 – 0 on the year, are ranked fourth in Class 2A, and bring a very experienced and talented team that went to the state tournament in 2013. The Rockets have only lost one set this season, and that was to West Branch, who is also ranked. The Eagles are fresh off an Ames tournament this past weekend where they won the consolation bracket after facing schools higher than 2A. First serve of tonight’s big game is scheduled for 7:15 p.m.
