Pella Christian, PCM, Pleasantville, and Twin Cedars recorded nice runs at the Lynnville-Sully meet yesterday. The Mustangs’ girls finished second place as a team to Davis County by just eight points. Rachel Stafford had the fastest time for PCM with a mark of 18:01, good for fifth place. Rachel Peter was eighth. Marina Shannon was tenth overall and fastest for Pella Christian at 18:50. Andie Sowers clocked in at 21:39 for 43rd place and fastest Trojan girl. Rachel Surbaugh crossed first for the Sabers in 46th place and with a time of 21:58. Blaise Winegardner was second overall for the boys’ race, and ran a time of 18:10 for the Mustangs. Jacob Lensing was fifth and was the fastest Eagle boy. Alex Young for Pleasantville came in at 20:42, good for 17th overall. The Trojans’ boys were third in the team standings, Pella Christian was fourth, and PCM was seventh. The PCM boys’ and girls’ middle school teams also finished first place last night.
