Levi Jungling didn’t touch the ball all that much, but when he did, he made it count in Pella Christian’s 38 – 0 shutout win of Lynnville-Sully in last night’s Week Two football match-up. Jungling rushed for 135 yards and a touchdown on just four carries, and caught two passes, each for scores, for 52 yards. Kacmarynski went 10-for-18 passing for 168 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. The Eagles also outgained the Hawks, 382 – 64 on offense on the night. Coach Darryl DeRuiter says the offensive line did a better job in the second half of creating holes at the line for the Eagles’ backs. The Eagles are now 2 – 0 on the season, and they’ll try to use that momentum to their advantage with a big non-district road game against Albia this Friday.
