September is Library Card Sign-Up Month and Knoxville Public Library Director Roslin Thompson is encouraging families to get their free card.

She says library cards allow people of all ages access to a variety of resources, such as books, DVD movies, and computer access at the library.

Applications to sign-up for a free library card are available at the Knoxville Public Library. You must have a photo ID when applying.
