A Hunter Education course is planned for next week in Knoxville.

The class is required by all Iowa Hunters born after January 1st, 1972, and is of no cost to students. The Marion County Sportsman’s Club, Marion County Conservation Board, and the Iowa Department of Natural Resources with the assistance of the Marion County Recorder’s Office are sponsoring the class.

The two-day session will begin on Thursday evening, September 18th, from 6pm to 9:30pm and concludes on Saturday, September 20th, from 8am until 3:30pm. Students must attend both classes to receive certification.
