Two radically different teams from a year ago will meet up in the Pella High gym tonight as the Lady Dutch host Dallas Center – Grimes for the first Little Hawkeye Conference match for both teams in the 2014 season. Pella went 6 – 1 in league play a year ago to tie with Newton for a conference championship. Coach Catie Brand says this year’s conference race could be very interesting. Pella’s girls have dropped their last eight and are 2 – 8 on the year while the Fillies enter with a 5 – 4 mark. The varsity match is scheduled to begin at 7:15 p.m.
