Marion County Sheriff Jason Sandholdt recently participated in the 106th session of the National Sheriff’s Institute.

Sheriff Sandholdt was selected for the training which focused on leadership. He said he was able to talk with 25 of his fellow sheriffs from across the country about the different ways law enforcement can connect with the community among other topics.

Sandholdt says it’s good to be able to get a different perspective on things from sheriffs who work in areas with just one or two deputies to those who are responsible for about half a million people.
