A community seminar to explain how people can communicate their wishes regarding health care treatment will be held at Marion County Public Health this week.

Iowa Physicians Order For Scope Of Treatment or IPOST is a document that allows a person to communicate their preferences for key life-sustaining treatments and creates a clear declaration of a patient’s health care treatment choices.

Knoxville Hospital & Clinics and HCI Hospice Care Services will each have presenters at the seminar.

The IPOST seminar will be held at Marion County Public Health tomorrow from 3pm to 4pm. The seminar is free and the public is welcome to attend.
