After dropping games one and two, the PCM volleyball team gave Carlisle a run, but dropped in the fifth set to lose the match. The Wildcats won games one and two, 25 – 17 and 25 – 14, the Mustangs charged back to take set three, 25 – 23 and set four, 25 – 21, before battling tight with Carlisle in the tiebreaker. It went past regulation, but the Wildcats won, 19 – 17. Courtney Van Houweling had 15 kills and 30 digs, and Ashley Van Gorp had 17 assists for the Mustangs, who are now 2 – 9 on the season. They’ll begin conference play next a week from tomorrow at North Polk.
