It was a tough night on the road for the PCM football team, as the offense couldn’t get into much of a rhythm and Central Decatur was able to capitalize on short field position throughout the game to defeat PCM, 20-7. The PCM defense was able to force Central Decatur out of their comfort zone, but Cardinal quarterback Trenton Wells was able to find holes in the Mustang defense throwing for 159 yards and two touchdowns and rushing for another. Despite the loss, head coach Greg Bonnett noticed positives during the game. Logan Gillman threw for just under 200 yards and a touchdown. PCM, now 0-2 on the year, looks to bounce back next week to begin district play against Centerville.
