The Marion County Democrats held their annual picnic and pie auction this weekend.

District 28 candidate Megan Suhr was among the candidates in attendance for the event that she says is a great promotion for Democrats in Marion County and shows how active they are in the area.

The picnic was held Sunday afternoon at Lake Red Rock. Suhr added she was pleased with the turnout of old and new faces to the event, as well as hearing from candidates that don’t often visit the area.

Secretary of Agriculture candidate Sherrie Taha and Secretary of State candidate Brad Anderson were also in attendance.
