The Pleasantville football team was able to shut out the Rockets of Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont on Friday night, 14-0, to pick up win number one for 2014. The Trojan defense caused seven turnovers to help shut down the Rocket offense that was held to under 200 yards on the night. Quarterback Zeb Adreon would lead the Trojans in rushing with 33 yards on nine carries and would add 29 more yards through the air. Head Coach Gabe Bakker knows his offense still has some improvements to make before next week. The Trojans improve to 1-1 on the season and will head to Martensdale-St. Marys on Friday night to open up district play.
