Good competition was had at the Twin Cedars volleyball tournament on Saturday morning. Pleasantville’s gals won two and dropped one in Bussey. The Trojans defeated Colfax-Mingo, 21 – 7 and 21 – 11, took down the Sabers 21 – 16 and 21 – 8, but fell to Lynnville-Sully in the “championship” game. Twin Cedars unfortunately couldn’t find a win, dropping to the TigerHawks in three sets, 21 – 19, 14 – 21, and 5 – 15. The Sabers also fell to Lynnville-Sully, 18 – 21 and 12 – 21. Pleasantville improves to 9 – 2, the Sabers are now 1 – 6; the Trojans will play a conference triangular with Mount Ayr and I-35 tomorrw, while Twin Cedars is at Wayne on Monday.
