It took five sets, but the Twin Cedars volleyball team came out on top of Moulton-Udell on Thursday evening. The Sabers prevailed 25 – 21 in game one before losing sets two and three 22 – 25 and 21 – 25, respectively. All this did was fire Twin Cedars up, as the Sabers sliced up the Eagles, 25 – 7 and 15 – 6 the rest of the way. Shyann Denburger went 23-for-23 serving on the night. The win is Twin Cedars’ first of the 2014 season and they will next host a tournament tomorrow morning.
