Taking on a very formidable foe yesterday at home, the Twin Cedars volleyball team fell to Class 2A Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont in straight sets. The Rockets won 25 – 9, 25 – 16 and 25 – 8 over the Sabers. Liz Rowley and Shelby Denburger were each perfect from behind the service line, says head coach, Alexis Kauzlarich, but she adds her team struggled at the net against a very good team. The Sabers are now 0 – 3 and they take on Moulton-Udell this Thursday.
