Melcher-Dallas found themselves on the winning side of things in a Bluegrass Conference bout last night against Seymour. The Saints took game one, 25 – 8, before dropping the second set 23 – 25. Melcher-Dallas prevailed 25 – 15 in both of the final two games to gain the victory. Twin Cedars lost to Moravia, 19 – 25, 22 – 25 and 16 – 25. The Saints are 1 – 2 on the year, the Sabers 0 – 2; Melcher hosts a tournament this weekend and Twin Cedars is off until Monday to rest up for a tough Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont club.
