A trial date has been set for a woman accused of fleeing from police after crashing a stolen car earlier this month.

Maria Meegan-Biggs will take the stand on Monday, October 6th on new charges of 5th degree theft for items allegedly stolen from a car in relation to a car theft earlier this month. She was arrested and charged with operating without owner’s consent and 4th degree theft in relation to a September 13th incident, where she was allegedly operating a stolen vehicle, crashed it and attempted to flee, but was arrested by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. She’s currently being held at Marion County Jail on $6300 bond.
