After trading wins and losses for the first five games of the season, the Central College football team is finally on a streak, and it’s a two-game winning streak after beating Loras 41-14 Saturday afternoon in Pella. Josh Osborn scored three touchdowns and rushed for more than 100 yards for the seventh straight game, Aaron Eisler threw for 302 yards, and freshman Sam Markham was one reception short of the school record with 11 grabs for 184 yards. Another standout for Central was Jacob Edelman, who intercepted three Loras passes and also punted twice for a 42 yard average. The Dutch are now 4-2 on the season, 2-1 in the Iowa Conference, and they’ll hit the road to Cedar Rapids this Saturday to take on Coe. Hear more about the victory over Loras, and a preview of the matchup with the Kohawks, when head coach Jeff McMartin joins us live at Applebee’s Monday night at seven o’clock on KRLS.
