City of Pella Electric Customers will have the chance to dispose of large appliances next week.

The city is participating in the Appliance Turn-In Program, in which old refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioners can be turned in to recycle for a rebate. The appliances must be working and larger than 10 cubic feet in size to be accepted. In order to participate, City of Pella electric customers need to call the Electric Department by Friday at 628-2581 to set up a time for pick up next week.
