Senior Liz Daniels of the Central women’s soccer team was chosen to the Capital One Division III Academic All-District Eight women’s soccer team, presented by the College Sports Information Directors of America. To be considered for inclusion, a student-athlete must be a starter at the varsity level, and maintain at least a 3.30 GPA. Daniels currently holds a 3.72 GPA with a biochemistry major, and has been a major part of Central’s success this season. The Dutch defense has allowed just 12 goals in 17 matches on their way to a 10 – 4 – 3 overall record and a 5 – 1 – 1 mark in the Iowa Conference. Four other Iowa Conference athletes were also chosen to the academic all-district team.
