With just three games left in the regular season, the Pella Christian football team enters Week Seven with a 4 – 2 overall record and a 2 – 1 mark in Class 1A District 6, good enough to hold second place by themselves. The Eagles were helped out by Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont, who defeated Sigourney-Keota last week to hand them their second district loss. Pella Christian appears to be in control of their own destiny, with two very winnable games at home the next two weeks before concluding the season against number-one ranked Iowa City Regina. Coach Rich Kacmarynski agrees with those sentiments. First things first, the Eagles host Columbus Junction this Friday night, a game that can be streamed live on our website, KNIAKRLS.com.
