They’ve fought hard, they have earned a first round bye in the Class 2A regional volleyball tournament, and tonight, Pella Christian’s talented gals will hit the road to Dallas Center – Grimes, where a win would clinch the Eagles a Little Hawkeye Conference championship. Norwalk helped the Eagles out by defeating the Fillies, and everyone else in the league, save for Pella Christian, of course, has at least two losses. With two conference matches this week for the Eagles, Coach Cindy Nikkel says her girls will need to do a better job of improvising at times.
