With less than five minutes left in the contest, Central women’s soccer forward, Emily Saville found the back of the net to allow her Dutch to edge Coe last night, 3 – 2. Brittany Hinton put the Dutch on the board a few minutes into the second half and quickly scored on a penalty kick not too long thereafter to put her team up 2 – 0 before the Kohawks came storming back. Central improves to 5 – 4 – 2 on the season and 1 – 1 in Iowa Conference matches. The Dutch will join the men with a road trip to Waverly and a match with Wartburg on Saturday.
