A fur harvester class will be held in Marion County next week.

Iowa DNR Marion County Conservation Officer Ken Kenyon says the class is directed towards kids, but can also be used for beginning fur trappers of any age, including adults. He says the class talks about the different methods of trapping and hunting and will take kids out on a raccoon hunt, where they can see the results of their traps the following day. Any animals caught will then be released.

The two-day class will be held Saturday, October 18th, and Sunday, October 19th, at the Marion County Sportsman Club.
