Associate athletics director and associate head softball coach at Central, Alicia O’Brien, was selected to be inducted into the Little East Conference Hall of Fame on October 26 in North Dartmouth, Massachusetts. O’Brien spent 17 seasons as head softball coach at Western Connecticut State, where she graduated from in 1983. Just last year, O’Brien was nominated into her alma mater’s Hall of Fame. While a head coach, she posted a 423-213-3 record and got her team to the NCAA finals in 2002. At Central, she has helped to lead the team to a 254 – 92 mark.
