PCM finished their regular season on Saturday in the Fairfield tournament. The Mustangs grabbed a win in three matches during their stay. PCM lost to Davis County in three, 25 – 20, 19 – 25 and 10 – 15; Courtney VanHouweling had six kills, Ashley Van Gorp had five, and Mackenzie Clarke had 21 digs. The Mustangs fell to the host Trojans, 19 – 25 and 18 – 25, before ending the day with a comeback win over Centerville, 17 – 25, 25 – 20, and 15 – 12. VanHouweling had ten kills for PCM, Kayla Jennings had four kills and 16 assists, and Jayci Vos swatted six kills in the match. The Mustangs wind up 9 – 24 on the regular season, and they next will have round one action of the Class 3A regional tournament a week from Monday.
