It was a tough night for the PCM football team as they fell to the #9 Albia Blue Demons 48-14, yesterday, the game was heard on kniakrls.com. Albia used five PCM turnovers to take a 34-6 lead into halftime. The Mustangs were able to add a late touchdown, but it wasn’t enough as they fell to 4-4 on the year. Logan Gilman and the PCM offense combined for 386 yards and Ronnie Marshall rushed for 138 yards on 27 carries. Head coach Greg Bonnett touched on what it’s going to take for his team to get a victory next Friday night on the road against North Polk. With a win in the regular season finale, the Mustangs would get the three seed out of Class 2A District 7.
