Getting last week off due to a first round bye, the Pella Christian volleyball team will get the opportunity to get their hands dirty tonight versus Des Moines Christian, in the quarterfinals of the Class 2A regional tournament. Both squads have put together impressive 2014 campaigns and ended their regular seasons on high notes. The stats show that tonight’s match could be a thriller, as both have similar stats. The one glaring discrepancy, however, is the serve percentage of the Eagles being much lower than the Lions, which Coach Cindy Nikkel says will be a big key tonight, among other things. Tonight’s match in Pella has a first serve scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m.
