The Pella School Board hosted area legislators and candidates for election at a round table discussion at their meeting Monday.

Superintendent Greg Ebeling says it was a chance for the board to meet one on one with legislators and to discuss some of the issues coming up at the next session in January. The group discussed the state budget, Common Core, and how schools are funded. Ken Rozenboom, Amy Sinclair, Greg Heartsill, Megan Suhr and Guy Vander Linden were all in attendance.
