The title “Iowa Conference Player of the Week” was affixed to three Central men’s athletes for their performances last week. On the football side of things, Jacob Edleman came up with three interceptions against Loras in a 41 – 14 triumph to earn him defensive player of the week honors. Aleksandar Glavas for the Central men’s soccer team scored twice in the second half in the Dutch’s 2 – 0 win over Buena Vista to be named league offensive player of the week. Eli Horton on the cross country side of things placed fourth overall at the Jim Drews Invitational to help lead the team to a fifth place team finish overall and third among Division III schools.
